"BOOTS and HEELS" - LRC's Fall Fundraiser!

"Boots and Heels" is the theme of our fall fundraiser this year - held at Delmonico Hall, 3220 Federal Blvd, in North Denver on September 24th from 5:30pm - 9:30pm. Prime rib dinner, drinks, dancing with a live auction to benefit Loveland Racing Club. Tickets are $35pp before 9/13/09; $45 after this date.

New LRC Head Coach
We are pleased to announce the hire of new head coach John Hale.
John has been a head coach of both the Women's Europa Cup and Development Teams for the United States Ski Team for the last seven years, coaching a long list of Athletes including Julia Ford, Laurenne Ross and Olympians Alice McKennis and Kaylin Richardson. As a member of the U.S. Olympic Committee’s Sports Science Division from 2003-2005, he attended the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece as a Performance Technologist. From 1995-2002 John held several coaching positions at the Burke Mountain Academy (BMA) – the prestigious ski racing academy that has sent many students to the Olympics and other national and international competitions. John was the head coach for BMA alumni Bryna McCarty, Caitlin Ciccone and Ashley Spina during his tenure. He was also with the Canadian Alpine Ski team and coached Britt Janyk, Emily Brydon and Anne-Marie Lefrancois.

LRC - Mt Hood Camp 2010

The following is from C.B., concerning an LRC ski camp in August at Mt. Hood, partnering with WIN Alpine. Address all questions to C.B.


Summer Camp Information

This is Win Alpine's/LRC's 6th year of partnering for Summer Ski Racing Camp. The camp is based in Government Camp, Oregon. It is designed to be the most comprehensive summer ski camp with an emphasis on modern slalom and G.S. techniques. We conduct training at Timberline Ski Area, boasting the best snow and training facilities in North America. Mt. Hood is the preferred training site of all European World Cup and National teams. The camp is open to any level and any age athlete.
